SEO Checker
Over a hundred checks in 28 categories, scored and sorted by what to fix first
Any public page. This site fetches it once and grades it, then keeps only the score, for a day, so the badge below can answer without reading your page again.
Want somebody to just fix it?
Every item above says what is wrong and why it matters. Most of them are an afternoon of work if you know where the settings live, and a lost week if you do not. We do this for a living, on WordPress, Shopify and hand-built sites.
- We work through the list above, top to bottom
- You get the before and after score, not a promise
- No retainer, no lock-in, no monthly report nobody reads
Send us the address and we will tell you what it would take. No charge for that part.
Ready. Paste any public address and this server fetches it once.
What This SEO Checker Actually Measures
It loads your page a single time, as a search engine crawler does. Then it grades what came back.
Six groups come out of that, split again into twenty-eight named categories. The meta block, the quality of the page, its heading structure, its links, the server response and the security headers.
Each category holds a handful of checks, and an ordinary page collects more than a hundred of them. Every check is a fact rather than an opinion, so the score is only a summary of the list underneath it.
That list is the useful part, and it is what turns a score into an analysis. A number tells you how you are doing, while the list tells you what to do on Monday morning.
These rules come from Google and web standards, not from us. Most of them come straight from Google Search Essentials, which is short and worth reading once.
The Six Groups, And Why Each One Is There
Meta data is the largest group, with eight categories behind it. Title, meta description, crawlability, canonical, language, social cards, document and address.
Page quality asks whether there is anything here. Word count, readability, keywords, images, markup and mixed content.
Page structure walks the outline. One H1, no skipped levels, real section headings, nothing empty.
Links look at where you point and what you say about it. How many there are, what the anchors say, and how they behave.
Server covers the response itself. Status, speed, weight, caching, addresses and whatever the software header gives away.
Security headers finish it. Transport, browser policy and disclosure, which between them hold HSTS, a content security policy and the smaller headers most sites never set.
Why There Is No Backlink Score Here
Other tools show a seventh group called external factors. They score it from a backlink index.

Denwix keeps no such list. An index of who links to your page means crawling the whole web, and the only other way to get it is to rent somebody else's.
This site adds no third-party services, so we would have to invent that number. Therefore it is not here at all.
Instead the sixth group grades your response headers, which you genuinely control and which nothing else on this page reports.
In short, we measured every number you see. Nothing on this page dresses a guess up as a metric.
How Denwix Builds the SEO Score
Each check has its own weighting. A missing title counts for far more than a missing Twitter card, because it matters far more.
Each pass earns full marks for its check, while a warning earns half. A failure earns nothing, and notes stay out of the sum altogether.
So a group score is simply what it earned over what was available. The overall score is the same sum across all six.
Because of that, a page can sit at eighty and still carry one thing worth fixing before anything else. Read the list, not the ring.
What Counts as a Strong Denwix Score
Above ninety is a page somebody has looked after. Between seventy and ninety is normal for a site that was built properly and then left alone. Below fifty usually means one large thing is wrong rather than a hundred small ones, and the to-do list will say which.
The Screenshot, And Why It Is A Real Render
Every report opens with a picture of your page rather than a stock frame. The server loads the address in a headless browser, waits for the layout to settle, and photographs the top of it.

So you see roughly what a visitor sees. A cookie wall covering the whole screen, a hero image that never arrived, a font that quietly fell back: all of that shows up here before a single check does.
When a render is not possible, the card falls back to the picture your page nominates for sharing through its og:image tag. The caption underneath always says which of the two you are looking at.
Sites that turn away automated readers are the usual reason for a fallback. Meanwhile the checks themselves still run, since those only need the HTML.
The Denwix Badge, And What It Costs Your Page
Under the ring sits an Embed widget button. Click it and a small window opens holding your badge, the snippet for it, and a copy button.
The badge is one SVG image, drawn and served by this site. Therefore it adds no script, no cookie and no third-party connection to whatever page you paste it on.
It prints the host and the score, and it shows a fresher number whenever this site has one. Above all it links back to a full report, so a visitor who wants the detail can go and read it.
Running A Website SEO Audit Page By Page
This checks one page at a time, on purpose. A whole-site crawl produces a spreadsheet nobody opens.

So start with the pages that earn. Your home page, your top three service pages and whatever already ranks.
Fix what those five report. Most of the findings repeat across a template, which means one fix often clears the same item on forty pages.
Then work outward. A website seo audit done this way finishes in an afternoon instead of stalling in a backlog.
What This Checker Remembers, And For How Long
Honesty is cheaper than a promise nobody ever audits. Here is the full picture in three short lines.
This site files the score alone under the address for a day, and the badge is the reason. An image sitting on somebody else's page must never be able to send this server off to crawl a fresh site on every view.
It holds the rendered screenshot for an hour, because producing one costs about half a minute of browser time.
Nothing else outlives the request. No page content, no report, no history and no account, and this site shares none of it with anybody.
Working With This On Page SEO Checker, Start to Finish
Four steps in all, and the last one is where the score really changes.
- 1
Paste the address
Any public page. The full address works best, including the path you care about.
- 2
Read the ring, then leave it
The score gives you a rough sense of your position. Denwix lists the issues and you choose the order.
- 3
Work the to-do list
Denwix ranks the fixes for you. Failures first, heaviest first, so the top item is always the one worth doing.
- 4
Repair the issue, then press the Denwix check button once more
Every run reads the page afresh, so a change shows at once. Only the screenshot may lag behind by an hour.
What Sets This SEO Checker Apart
Plenty of tools print a score. The difference is whether you can act on what comes with it.
Every item says why
A red cross beside "canonical" helps nobody. Each row here explains what the tag does and what goes wrong without it.
Sorted, not just listed
Failures come before warnings, and heavier checks before lighter ones. That way, whatever sits first really is your most urgent fix.
It grades your headers
HSTS, a content security policy, nosniff and frame protection. Most checkers ignore these, and most sites therefore never set them.
No registration and no cap per day
Check one page, then fifty more, with no cap. Denwix shows every result without asking for your email first.
Denwix stores the score and nothing else
The number lives for a day so the badge can answer, and the picture for an hour. Nothing else reaches the disk, and no account exists to hold it.
It says openly what it cannot check
No invented backlink score, and no traffic estimate. Every number on the report came off the page you gave it.
Four Rules For Reading Any SEO Report
These keep a score from turning into busywork.
- Fix failures before warnings. A missing title costs you more than eight perfect warnings ever will. So work down, never sideways.
- Never chase a hundred. The last few points usually sit behind things nobody notices. Spend that effort on the page itself instead.
- Check a template, not a page. If one blog post fails a check, every post probably does. Therefore fix it once in the template.
- Rerun the Denwix check after every change you publish. A fix that quietly broke something else is common. The second run is how you find out.
Five Ways An SEO Audit Wastes Your Time
Each of these feels like progress and moves nothing.
Editing only to push the Denwix number up
The figure only sums things up. Nobody searching for your service has ever seen it, and Google does not compute one.
Tackling quick wins before the fixes that matter
A Twitter card takes two minutes and changes nothing. The heavy items are heavy because they matter.
Auditing pages nobody visits
Audit your top five money pages first. An immaculate tag page earns you exactly as much as it did before.
Ignoring the server group
A slow first byte delays everything else on the page. It is also usually a setting rather than a rebuild.
Doing it once
A theme update can drop a canonical or add a noindex. So run it again after anything touches the site.
SEO Checker Questions People Ask
Does this SEO checker stay free with no hidden plan?
Yes, and there is no account, no daily quota and no email wall. The tool runs on this site and costs us a page fetch, which is cheap enough to give away.
How many tests does the Denwix SEO checker perform?
Over a hundred, in twenty-eight categories across six groups. The exact number varies with the page, because alt text needs images and a redirect chain needs redirects.
Why is my score lower than on another tool?
Every tool weighs things differently, and several include a backlink score this one deliberately leaves out. Track one page against its own past scores instead of against other tools.
Will a higher Denwix score push my pages up Google?
No. A Denwix score of 100 guarantees no position on Google. On-page work removes the reasons a page cannot rank. What it ranks for afterwards depends on the content and on who links to it.
Can the SEO checker read a members-only page?
No. The checker fetches the address as an anonymous visitor, so it sees what a search engine sees. Search engines cannot reach a page behind a login either, which is usually the point.
What does the screenshot at the top of the report show?
Usually a real screenshot, rendered by loading your page in a headless browser. When that is not possible, the card shows the image your page nominates for sharing instead, and the caption underneath says which one arrived.
Can I put the score on my own site?
Yes. Open Embed widget under the ring, copy the snippet and paste it anywhere. It is a single image tag pointing back here, so it adds no script, no cookie and no tracking to your page.
Why did another tool read a page this one refused?
Some servers turn away anything that names itself as a checker. Therefore this one notices a 403 and asks once more the way a browser would, then says so in the report, because Googlebot may well be caught by the same rule.
Does Denwix keep a list of the URLs people test?
Only the score, and only for a day, so the badge can answer without auditing your page again on every view. The screenshot is held for an hour. No page content and no history is kept, and there is no account to keep one in.
What if I cannot fix what it found?
Send us the address. Most of the list is an afternoon of work when you know where the settings live, and we do this for a living. The button at the foot of the report goes straight to WhatsApp.
Tools That Go Deeper On One Finding
The checker gives you the list. These three take one item apart.

Test the Page, Then Repair It
Run the checker on your most important page and read the top three items. If you would rather somebody else worked through the list, the WhatsApp button sits under every report.
