The Job a Schema Markup Generator Handles
Structured data explains a page in plain machine terms. This is an article, that is its author, and here is the day it went live.
Search engines read pages well enough already. However, markup removes the guessing, so the facts arrive as facts rather than as text to interpret.
The payoff is a richer result. A star rating, a price or an opening time can appear beside your listing, and that changes how many people click.
The vocabulary is huge and you need very little of it. the schema.org getting started guide shows the parts worth learning first.
Why JSON-LD Rather Than The Rest
You can write it three ways: JSON-LD, microdata or RDFa. Google recommends the first, and the first is the only one this tool writes.
The reason is separation. Microdata threads attributes through your HTML, whereas JSON-LD sits in one block and leaves your markup alone.

As a result, edits stay simple. Since the block is self-contained, you can paste it, edit it or delete it without touching the page around it.
Keep the Markup True to What Visitors See
Every value you enter should already appear on the page. A price in the markup and a different price on screen is a contradiction a crawler notices.

Ratings follow that rule too. Mark up reviews only when real reviews sit there, because invented numbers earn a manual penalty rather than a star.

So treat this as description, never as decoration. In short, if a reader cannot see it, it does not belong in the block.
An Honest Word About FAQ Results
Google narrowed FAQ rich results in August 2023, and most sites stopped seeing those dropdowns in search. The markup still helps, though, because other engines and assistants read it and it costs almost nothing. Just do not expect the listing to change overnight.
Placing Schema on a Page in Four Moves
Four steps, and the middle two do all the work. Because the JSON builds as you type, nothing waits on a button.
- 1
Pick your type
FAQ page, article, product or local business. The fields underneath change to suit the choice.
- 2
Complete the fields you have answers for
Leave anything blank and the tool leaves it out. A short honest block beats a long invented one.
- 3
Choose the wrapping
Keep the script tag on to paste it straight in. Turn it off when a plugin wants raw JSON.
- 4
The generated script tag can sit anywhere in the HTML of the page
Drop the block into the head, or anywhere in the body. Then test the address in a rich results checker.
What This Schema Tool Covers
Four types cover most ordinary pages. So the tool stays small, and the fields stay ones you can actually answer.
FAQ rows you can add to
Questions arrive as rows rather than fixed boxes. Therefore an eight-question page takes the same effort as a two-question one.
Articles with real dates
Published and modified dates both go in properly. Since freshness matters for news and guides, that pair earns its place.
Products with offers
Price, currency, SKU and stock status all fit the Offer shape. Then the rating fields stay optional, exactly as they should.
Six local business types to choose from
Restaurant, shop, clinic, hotel and more sit in the list. As a result the type matches your business instead of approximating it.
Opening hours parsed for you
Type Mo-Fr 09:00-18:00 and the tool converts it. Rather than learn the specification, you write it the way you say it.
Nothing leaves the tab
Your browser assembles the JSON on its own. Because prices and addresses often go in early, that keeps unlaunched details private.
Rules For Structured Data
Schema rewards accuracy and punishes invention. These six habits keep a block on the right side of that line.
- Describe what is visible. Every property should match something on the page. Otherwise the markup argues with the content, and the content wins.
- Pick a single main type for each page. Mark an article page up as Article. So resist stacking four types onto one address in the hope something sticks.
- Leave unknown fields empty. A missing property is fine, while a guessed one is not. Therefore blank beats approximate every single time.
- Use full addresses. Images and page addresses need the protocol and host. A relative path resolves differently depending on who reads it.
- Run a test before you continue. Paste the page into a rich results checker once it is live. Then you learn about a missing field today, not next quarter.
- Keep it current. Prices change and opening hours change with them. Since stale markup misleads people, update the block when the page updates.
Schema Mistakes That Backfire
These three go beyond simply not working. Any of these can lose you rich results you already earned.
Reviewing your own product
Self-serving ratings stopped earning stars years ago. However, plenty of sites still add them and wonder why nothing appears.
Marking up hidden content
Questions in the markup that appear nowhere on the page break the rules. So write the FAQ first, then describe it.
Expecting a ranking lift
On its own, structured data does not lift rankings. Instead it changes how a listing looks, and the clicks follow from that.
Schema Questions Answered
In which part of the page does the JSON-LD block belong?
Inside the head is tidiest, though anywhere in the body works just as well. Google reads the script wherever it finds it, so pick whichever spot your theme makes easy.
Will rich results appear straight away?
No. Google must crawl the page again before anything changes, and that may take days. Even then the engine decides whether to show the enhancement, because valid markup earns eligibility rather than a guarantee.
Can one page carry two blocks?
Yes, and on some pages it ought to. A product page with an FAQ underneath can carry both types. Still, keep each block honest about the part of the page it describes.
Do I need this if I use a plugin?
Probably not for ordinary posts, since most SEO plugins handle article markup already. This tool suits the pages they miss, such as a single landing page or a local business listing.
Does schema work outside Google?
Yes. Bing, Yandex, Pinterest and a growing pile of AI assistants all read the same vocabulary. In fact that wider audience is the better argument for adding it.
Does the Denwix schema page send my data anywhere?
No. Fields, JSON and download all stay inside this tab. Since product prices and addresses frequently go in before launch day, nothing here travels anywhere.
Finish The Page Properly
Schema is only one of many signals. So these three cover the others on the same page.
